Atendimento em saúde bucal é referência em Nova Andradina
A Prefeitura de Nova Andradina tem oferecido atendimento em saúde bucal gratuitamente para a população, em nove postos Estratégias Saúde da Família (ESF’s), no Centro de Especialidades Odontológicas (CEO), além de implantar uma inovação, os plantões odontológicos, que acontecem de segunda à sábado, visando atender prioritariamente os trabalhadores, além das urgências ou emergências.
No Centro de Especialidades Odontológicas (CEO), durante o dia, são cinco profissionais atendendo diariamente pacientes de Nova Andradina e região, nas especialidades odontológicas. Em 2011, foram realizados 2.460 atendimentos, com 8.370 procedimentos realizados, de acordo com o coordenador da saúde bucal, Dr. Marcos Fabri.
Nas ESF’s, em 2011 foram realizados 3.421 atendimentos com 12.786 procedimentos, com nove profissionais atuando, um por unidade.
O atendimento também é realizado na zona rural, com o ônibus odontológico, que atende às comunidades rurais, com procedimentos de rotina e educação em saúde bucal.
Já a inovação implantada na administração do prefeito Gilberto Garcia, os plantões odontológicos, contemplam os trabalhadores que não têm condições de serem atendidos no horário de funcionamento das ESF’s, quando são realizadas consultas e procedimentos. Somente em 2011, foram realizados 3.940 atendimentos, com 10.949 procedimentos. Nos plantões são 16 profissionais que realizam o atendimento, sendo dois por dia.
Fazendo uma análise geral, o coordenador da saúde bucal, Marcos Fabri, fala da evolução do atendimento realizado em Nova Andradina, que é gratuito, com profissionais capacitados, e material de primeira qualidade, e com isso alcançando resultados bastante satisfatórios. “Os plantões caíram no gosto da população, vem atendendo à grande demanda. Temos recebido muitos elogios por este trabalho realizado, o que nos incentiva cada vez mais. Parabenizamos o prefeito Gilberto Garcia pela gestão em saúde no município”, analisa Marcos Fabri.
