Escolas estaduais poderão disponibilizar assistência médica e odontológica
Além de educar, as unidades escolares de Mato Grosso também podem se tornar locais de cuidados com a saúde física e mental. A proposta foi apresentada pelo deputado Dilmar Dal’Bosco (DEM), na última semana, via projeto de lei que institui o Programa Saúde na Escola, Saúde na Sociedade.
A matéria determina que todos os alunos matriculados nas escolas públicas de Mato Grosso realizem, no interior de suas unidades, consultas regulares com dentistas, clínicos gerais, oftalmologistas e psicólogos, além da obrigatoriedade de exames de sangue, odontológicos e oftalmológicos, e, em caso de identificação de doenças com maior gravidade, encaminhamento a especialistas.
“Trata-se de uma medida preventiva. É comum identificar estudantes que nunca fizeram consultas, muitos deles por falta de orientação ou pela dificuldade de marcação dos exames. Sabemos que diagnosticar precocemente uma doença, trás maior possibilidade de tratamento e cura para os alunos atendidos”, avaliou o parlamentar.
Para diminuir os custos com a implantação do programa, Dilmar sugere que o Estado celebre convênios com universidades públicas e privadas a fim de que os estudantes próximos a graduação possam atender nessas unidades de ensino, em contrapartida as horas disponibilizadas para prestação dos serviços serão revertidas em estágio. O atendimento médico/escolar deverá ser autorizado pelos pais ou responsáveis pelo aluno.
O Programa Saúde na Escola, Saúde na Sociedade também prevê a execução de palestras educativas por meio de uma ação conjunta entre as Secretarias de Estado de Saúde (SES) e Educação (Seduc) e o Conselho Tutelar. “Antigamente essas ações eram muito comuns nas escolas estaduais que, a exemplo do que propusemos, mantinham as fichas médicas de seus estudantes com o tipo sanguíneo e o fator RH, que facilitava o atendimento em caso de urgência. Investir em saúde preventiva é diminuir gastos futuros do Estado”, encerrou o autor da proposta, deputado Dilmar Dal’Bosco.
