Saúde vai repassar R$ 6 milhões para capacitação na área de prótese dentária
O Ministério da Saúde repassará R$ 6 milhões às secretarias estaduais de Saúde para capacitar profissionais na área de prótese dentária, por meio da Portaria n. 2010 de 17 de setembro de 2012. A iniciativa faz parte do Programa de Formação Profissional de Nível Técnico (Profaps). A meta é que com os recursos seja possível qualificar em um ano cerca de 2 mil novos técnicos em prótese dentária em todo o País.
A carga horária do curso terá no mínimo 1.200 horas que serão distribuídas entre carga horária teórica e prática. Além desta carga horária, o curso contará com estágio supervisionado complementar. As secretarias estaduais de Saúde poderão utilizar as suas escolas técnicas que tenham curso na área e, na ausência destas, contratará escola técnica que tenham este curso reconhecido pelo Conselho Estadual de Educação.
“A ampliação de vagas vem contribuir para o programa Brasil Sorridente e permitirá que tenhamos mais profissionais capacitados a prestar um serviço de qualidade em saúde bucal à população”, afirma o secretário de Gestão do Trabalho e da Educação em Saúde, Mozart Sales.
Os dados devem ser encaminhados ao Ministério da Saúde em até 60 dias a partir da publicação da Portaria para liberação dos recursos. O projeto apresentado deve seguir as diretrizes da Política Nacional de Educação Permanente em Saúde e as orientações para a elaboração dos projetos constantes no anexo da portaria.
Brasil Sorridente – A Política Nacional de Saúde Bucal – Programa Brasil Sorridente, constitui uma série de medidas que têm como objetivo garantir as ações de promoção, prevenção e recuperação da saúde bucal dos brasileiros, entendendo que esta é fundamental para a saúde geral e qualidade de vida da população. Sua principal meta é a reorganização da prática e a qualificação dos serviços oferecidos, reunindo uma série de ações em Saúde Bucal voltada para os cidadãos de todas as idades, com ampliação do acesso ao tratamento odontológico gratuito aos brasileiros, por meio do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS).
Atualmente, existem 21.602 Equipes de Saúde Bucal (ESB) no Brasil, um aumento de 388% em relação a 2002. Estas estão distribuídas por 4.886 municípios, sendo que em 2002 eram apenas 2.302 municípios cobertos. Os Centros de Especialidades Odontológicas (CEO) servem de referências para as ESB, que encaminham os casos que necessitam de tratamento especializado. Existem hoje 907 centros em todo o País, distribuídos em 752 municípios. E 1.304 municípios possuem Laboratórios Regionais de Próteses Dentárias credenciados, um investimento do Ministério da Saúde de R$ 102,8 milhões/ano. Em 2011, o Brasil produziu 300 mil próteses dentárias, número 65% superior à produção de 2010. Até maio de 2012, a produção já foi de 102 mil próteses e a estimativa é que sejam produzidas 400 mil próteses em 2012.
